After a lengthy illness she battled with grace and dignity, Gwenn passed away quietly on August 9th. Gwenn grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Northeastern State University where she got her teaching degree. While in college, she met her husband Robert and together they began their teaching career in Kansas and in 1960, moved to Pittsburg where she taught at Village and Foothill Elementary for 37 years. She loved teaching and was committed to the children she taught. She loved to read, and enjoyed gambling in Reno and Tahoe and spending time with her beloved animals. Gwenn is survived by her husband Robert of 57 years and her daughter Shelly. Wife, mother, teacher, friend. She will be forever missed. No service will be held.
