Claros
May 27, 1928 — Apr 27, 2021
Pittsburg
Magdalena Claros, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home on April 27, 2021 in Pittsburg, California with her caring and nurturing daughters and son at her side. Maggie was born May 27, 1928 in Talnique Departamento De La Libertad El Salvador, Central America. She came to the United States in 1956 and lived in San Francisco. She married in 1957 and was later widowed by Adalberto Clams. They had 5children together.
Maggie worked for 40 years at Nurseryman Exchange and then retired to become a full-time nanny/babysitter for family and friends. She cared for over a dozen children during her nanny/babysitting years. Family and friends always wondered how she could manage so many children, but Maggie enjoyed her time caring for the children and was always very patient, attentive, and she was very committed to providing the best and safest environment for all the children she nannied/babysat for.
Maggie lived a great wonderful long life. She had a love for gambling in Lake Tahoe. She loved to play the slot machines and always enjoyed the cha-ching sounds of her winnings from the machines. It was fun and exciting to her. She would have the biggest smile on her face when she was playing her slot machines. She also loved watching her novelas, listening to music, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family and all her loved ones. Maggie is survived by her children Ena Mabel (Sonia), Jeanette, Lisela, Loreta, Herbert, and grandchildren Raymond (Junior), Melissa, Reymundo, Rico, Carlos, and great grandchild Nieko, and nieces and nephews, Son-in-laws Beto, Carlos, Raymond. She is preceded in death by her grandson Humberto (Betito).
Maggie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was adored and loved by all her family and friends and she will be missed deeply. May Maggie Rest in Peace. She will be forever and always in our hearts.
