Margarita Solis, also known as Nina Margie Margie and Maggie, was born in Walnut Creek, California on February 13, 1962 and peacefully entered into rest on February 5, 2015. Margie was a lifelong resident of Pittsburg, California and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1981and was also a 1982 graduate of Heald Business College. She worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant for several financial institutions and had recently went back to school to study bookkeeping and Accounting at Heald Business College. She is survived by her parents Margarita and Estanislao Solis, siblings Lettie Solis and Henry Solis, and her two nephews Eddie Carrillo and Michael Carrillo, all of whom she loved dearly. She is also survived my many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, very dear friends and her brothers and sisters in Christ from Victory Outreach Church in Pittsburg. Margie was preceded in death by her loving aunt, Nina Abigail Carbajal and very dear cousin Manuel Carbajal

Margie was a Child of the King, a woman of God and a woman of the Word and Prayer. She was a Christian—a disciple and follower of Christ. She was God's Handmaiden. Margie was also one of the founding members of Victory Outreach Church in Pittsburg, CA and help Pastors Memo and Petra Tenorio establish the church. In the beginning stages of Victory 0utreach ("VO"), she served as director of the children's ministry for many years. She loved children and the children all loved her. She was also a prayer intercessor and prayed and fasted without ceasing for her family and friends and for many souls, and she planted many seeds for Christ. Most recently she had served as usherette for VO Antioch and Pastor Adam and Gina Valenzuela. She also enjoyed very much being on the drama team and continued as an intercessory prayer warrior. Since she came to Christ in the late 80s, her love for God and her desire to serve Him in whatever capacity He needed never ceased, and she faithfully served him in a steadfast manner and wholeheartedly

Margie was a great sister and aunt and godmother and awesome friend. But most of all she was a great daughter. She loved her family dearly and selflessly and took great care of her parents. She would leave work on her breaks to take her mother to all of her medical appointments or to pick up any medications she needed. She also enjoyed making her fancy gourmet meals for her parents on a daily basis as well as for her siblings and nephews as when possible would invite her friends over too. Margie and her mother were definitely "BFFs" and she always made sure her mother got out of the house for fresh air and a good time by taking her out to restaurants, the movies, out for an ice cream at Fenton's and most importantly to visit family members no matter how far the distance.
