Maria Francisca Torres-Sanchez was born on March 7, 1921 in Castroville, Ca and passed away on July 20, 2014.
Beloved matriarch of the Sanchez family, she is survived by three children: Fernando, Lupe and Nena Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Diego Sanchez, children: Ana Maria, Rosie, Jose and Carlos Sanchez.
She loved to have family gatherings, gardening, knitting, cooking for her family and loved to travel. A devoted and caring mother of 7 children, grandmother of 11, great grandmother of 8 and great great grandmother of 2. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 4pm with a service at 6:30pm and a vigil at 7pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
