After a lone struggle with Alzheimers', Marianne passed away on June 14, 2013 at Stonebrook Healthcare, Concord. She was the daughter of Jack and Mamie Aiello and was a longtime resident of Pittsburg. Marianne graduated from Pittsburg High School and was employed by Los Medanos Hospital.
Marianne is survived by her children: Angelyn Flosi (Richard), Anthony Ferrara (Sue) and Mae Ganson (Mike). Four grandchildren: Richard and Michael Flosi, Christina Keas and David Gerencher and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Geraldine Aiello (Vince) and many nieces and nephews. Marianne was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Ferrara, siblings John, Paul and Rosie Aiello.
A funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of the East Bay.
