Marianne Teresa Siino passed away peacefully on November 5, at her home in Antioch, CA. She was 60 years old.

Over the course of nearly four decades, Marianne touched the lives of literally hundreds of children in her pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classroom at St. Peter Martyr School in Pittsburg, CA. Incredibly patient and loving, she was known for her ability to recognize and draw out the best in every child, helping her students develop confidence as well as their social and educational skills.

Marianne graduated in 1976 from Carondelet High School in Concord, CA. Wonderful with little children, she went on to study early childhood education. She began her work at St. Peter Martyr School in 1979, and continued to work in her classroom until October of this year.

Marianne is survived by her five siblings: Kathy R. Beratta (Mark) of Antioch; Anthony M. Siino and Joseph F. Siino of Antioch; her twin brother Thomas V. Siino (Linda) of Alamo; and Rosanne M. Siino of Oakland. She also will be greatly missed by her niece Kristin (Jonathan) and her nephews Daniel (Tina), Steven, and Brendon; and her great-nephew and great-nieces Anthony Joseph, Alysse, Ella and Kaitlyn.

A vigil will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 7:00pm.  Memorial funeral liturgy Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00am both days at St. Ignatius of Antioch.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Marianne's memory to St. Peter Martyr School, 425 West Fourth Street, Pittsburg CA 94565.
