Marta V. Hurtado, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017. She was a native of Guatemala City, Guatemala and longtime resident of Bay Point.
Marta is survived by her husband, Justo Hurtado, four daughters: Verna, Michelle, Pearalisa, and Carla. Grandchildren: Blanca, Anthony, Natalie, Desiree, and Octavio Sr. Great grandchildren: Isiah, Melanie, and Octavio Jr., and one sister Rosie. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty De La Encina, father, Jose E. Ayala, and great granddaughter Alillia Jade.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette.
