It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Glavaris on November 2. Born on December 6th, 1952, in Pittsburg, California. She was raised in Pittsburg where her faith, family, and love for life began to take root.

Martha was known for her radiant smile, her playful sense of humor and her ability to bring joy to those around her.  She exemplified the words of Matthew 25:23 - "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Martha truly lived a life of love and faith, serving others and finding happiness in the presence of her family.

She will forever be remembered as a woman who brought light to the lives of everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and unwavering love that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents Rafael Romo and Teodora Romo. She is survived by her daughter Rachele Glavaris (Chris), grandchildren Jordan, Christian, Noah and siblings Ralph Romo (Brenda), Frank Romo (Debbie-predeceased), Alicia Romo Mijares (Mike), Armando Romo (Diane), Olga Romo Parras (Mike), Maria Romo Giacomelli (Raymond - predeceased) and David Romo.

Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 12:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Private inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
