Mary L. Narez, a long time resident of Pittsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Nov. 8, 2013. She was a active member of The Catholic Daughters, Guadalupana, a former member of The Altar Guild for The Church Of The Good Shepherd. She was a retired grocery store owner of 35 years of La Plaza Market. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, homemaker, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents Jose & Rebecca Sanchez, her husband of 39 years Benjamin Narez, two brothers Robert (Emily & Cindy) & Anthony Sanchez, two sisters Lupe (Denny) Kuresh & Sally (Frank) Paul, and son-in-law Darrell Frazier. She is survived by her children Rebecca Frazier, John Narez, Joseph & Cheryl Narez, Dr. Mercedes Narez & Frank Fernandez, John & Monica Mercurio, Robert & Veronica Brown, & David Narez. 20 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren.
