May Huarte passed in the early morning hours on Saturday, January 19, 2019 after 92 years of a wonderful life. She touched many lives with her kindness and open home to anyone needing a place to stay especially Military serving our country. Born in Louisiana, raised in Texas and was a Rosie Riveter during World War II. Lived in CA most of her life where she met and married sixty years to Ray Huarte. She loved visiting Lake Tahoe and traveling the world and having Mecca diners and playing cards with family every Saturday evening.

May is survived by her three children, Jim (Gina), Linda (Gary), Barbara (Lee), grandchildren; Robert (Candice), Michael (Angela), Brandon (Meghan) , Meaghan (Nathan), Gup (Kellianne), Silvia (Brian), many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Huarte.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Chapel blessing Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00am both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
