Medardo Orduna, 82, passed away Jan 13, 2012, to join his wife Mary to whom he was married to for 58 years. He was a native of Tulare, CA and a 60 year resident of Pittsburg and Bay Point. He worked as an electrician
for over 35 years at US Steel, Crown Zellerbach and Gaylord where he retired in 1994. He was a Korean War veteran receiving the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Guadalupana Society and enjoyed watching the Raiders and Giants.Medardo is survived by daughters: Geri Fernandez, Rita Alleaume (Dan), Sandra Pardi (Rob); sons: Robert (Alberta), Rudy (Rosanne), Richard (Tina), and Tom (Nella); grandchildren: Gregory, R.J., Nicki, Jessica, Christina, Robert, Stephen, Rachel, Phillip, Ryan, Sarah, Ross, Sean, Cotie, Cala, Cierra, Maria, Melanie, Christopher and Delia; great-grandchildren:
Alejandro, Cruz, Aiden, Kade, Isaac, Annabelle, Gabriel, Miah, Maddie and Lily. Also survived by his sisters Bea Salazar, Hortie Calderon and Esther Renteria. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife Mary Orduna, his parents Jesus Orduna and Micaela Ortega, and his grandson Anthony Orduna. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy
