Michael Henry Gonzales passed away unexpectedly at his home. Born in Antioch and a lifelong resident of Pittsburg. Mike graduated from Pittsburg High School "Class of 73". He worked for the Pittsburg Unified School District for 40 years in the maintenance department. A member of the Concord Moose Lodge; he enjoyed playing baseball, softball, golf and playing cards with friends.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Debra, and children James Gonzales (Lindsay), Calvin May, Anita May, Keith May, and Nick (Melisa) May. Mother Jennie Gonzales, sister Cyndi (Mark) Cappucini, and brother Henry Jr. (Sharon), 5 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Henry (Hank) Gonzales.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 viewing from 6-8pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 10:30am both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal Service following at Holy Cross Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the American Heart Association.
