Obituary

Michele was born October 17th 1968, to Carmelita and MacArthur Arciaga. She was the 2nd born between her 2 sisters: Desiree, oldest and Caroline, the youngest.

Growing up, Michele always surrounded herself with people she loved, whether it was her sisters, cousins or close friends.
Michele has always been a strong, beautiful and free spirited person, but her strongest quality was being very Loving.
When Michele was a young girl(very young), all of those great qualities that made her who she was, attracted the attention of boy that would change her world, even if she didn't know it at the time. She met a young and very energetic Alvin Baluyut. It was in the 5th grade when Alvin asked Michele to "go steady". As you most likely know, the rest is history. They did everything together from: arcades to school dances. They also joined the Filipiniana Dance Troup together. They were, for the most part, inseparable. These were the times that helped lay the foundation to support a monument that housed their legacy.
On March 22, 1985. When Michele was only 16, she gave birth to her first son Michael Alexander Baluyut. With the new joys and fears of being a new parent, Michele was still able to complete, and graduate High School. Then on August 2nd, 1986, Michele and Alvin got married. By that time, life seemed full with their newly made family. It wasn't until June 5th, 1989, that they completed their family with the birth of their 2nd son, Justin Baluyut.
As the years went by, Michele's family always remained a driving force in her life. She would always be at every family party or event, no matter how Late she would be(Hours at a time).
Michele was well known for always being fashionably late. Everyone would say, "If there was party tomorrow at 4pm, she would need to start getting ready today, right now". But still, she would never miss a family occasion. She would also always be involved as much as she could with planning and setting up. Even if she didn't have much, she would give whatever she could.
A lot of people refer to Michele's smile, and always being happy. However, for her, there was no greater joy than being a grandma. When Michele's son Justin reunited with his childhood love, Desirae, She got a glimpse of what it meant to be a grandma, with Desirae's daughter Annaleya. They shared a lot of great memories: chasing waves at the beach, watching movies, and cooking some of her well known, Egg and Potato with fried rice. Then, on October 28th, 2017, that is when Michele got the full effect of being a Grandma, with the birth of her 2nd grand-daughter, Malia Jhene Baluyut.
The bond Michele had with her grand-daughters was so strong. No matter when or what time, she was always available for them. She would spend as much time as she could with them. Seeing the love she shared with her girls was a reminder of how and who she was her whole life.
Michele was always a Very Loving and Caring person. She did the best she could for the people that meant the most, Her Family: her Grand-daughters, her sons and her Sisters. With these people in her life Michele was always the best version of herself. The moments and the memories she made and left in all of our hearts will always remain.
Even though she was taken too soon, we keep the Best parts of her with us Always. She will continue to live on through the Love, and legacy that was left behind.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 5:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd . Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
