Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Miriam was the daughter of Vince and Sarah DiMaggio, sister of Dr. Vincent DiMaggio and mother of John, Cindi and Sheryi. Beloved grandmother to Kristina and Eric Kohler and devoted aunt to Sarah and Andrew DiMaggio she will be truly missed by all. Miriam was born and raised in Pittsburg , was an enthusiastic realtor in East Contra Costa County retiring in 2008 and devoted member of the Catholic church. Miriam adored her dog, Lissa, loved decorating her home, gardening, cooking, was passionate about family gatherings.
A funeral mass will be held on Dec. 18 at 11a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3200 Harbor Street in Pittsburg.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at John Muir Medical Center for their unwavering support during Miriam's 5week hospital stay.
