Naomi Flores Castillo, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on the 26 ^th of December 2020 in Reno, Nevada at the age of 85.  She was the eldest daughter of Miguel and Margaret Flores, and was born on 29 November 1935 in Oxnard, California.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard Daniel Castillo.  Naomi is survived by her children: Angelina, Richard, Virginia ("Gini"), and Magdalene ("Mara"); her grandchildren: Richard, Kieran, Zachary, Rose, Brenna, Jared, Chloe, and Ethan; her great grandchildren: Noah and Bailey; and her sisters: Rita, Martha and Debbie.

Naomi was a wonderful wife and mother and she loved to cook for her family.  Her green chili with pork was one of her family's favorite.  She loved her cats, doing word search puzzles, and watching her Mexican novelas.  She loved going out Saturday mornings with Gini to get her Starbucks (a venti caramel macchiato, "198°, caramel in the cup, whip cream, and caramel on the top") and to run their errands.

Naomi will be interred in San Gorgonio Memorial Park in Banning, California, on January 25, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Disabled Americans Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust.

Naomi would always tell her family and loved ones, "May my angels watch over you and protect you."  Mom is with Dad and her angels, watching over us.
