Nelda was born in Texas and moved to Oklahoma where she spent her childhood. In July of 1948, she married James Johnson (deceased 1986) and lived the rest of her life in California. Nelda leaves one daughter, Donna (Chuck) Scotto of Antioch, and one grandson Jeffrey of Brentwood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Interment immediately following at Oakview Memorial Park, Antioch. The family requests donations to your favorite charity in Nelda's name in lieu of flowers.
