Newton A. King Sr. passed away peacefully with his youngest daughter by his side at her home in Benicia, CA, on January 21, 2019, from a long term illness.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Aurelia King, daughters Sharon King, and Carol Dunaway (Curt), sons Newton King Jr. (Lynette), and William King, five grandchildren Erika Alorro (Romeo), Ashley Pinell (Marcelo), Nicholas Herrington, Cameron Dunaway and Noah King, four great grandchildren, Romeo Alorro III, Arielle Alorro, Celine Pinell, and Marcelo Pinell II.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Military burial will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 9:30am at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Ca 95620.
