Nick Frank Zaragoza Jr., 60, passed away on Friday, Jan. 3 at home, surrounded by his family. Nick served in the U.S. Air Force from 1972-1976 on the Security Police Squadron. He later cross-trained to become a Fuel Specialist. Nick loved sports & was a loyal Oakland Raiders & A's fan. He enjoyed listening to music & spending time with his family & friends.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Zaragoza, 3 daughters: Gina Alfsen-Zaragoza, Laura Zaragoza & Lisa Zaragoza; 8 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. He is also survived by his mother Olivia Rocha, his loving sisters & brothers & many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his fathers: Nick Zaragoza Sr., & Louis Rocha Sr.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 9:30am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy following 11:30am at the Most Holy Rosary Church, Antioch. Committal services will be held at a later date at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, Dixon.
