Nina passed away on October 6, 2021 in Pittsburg, at the age of 95. Nina was born on January 9, 1926 in Pittsburg, to parents Joseph and Francis Russo. She was retired from the Pittsburg Unified School District.

Nina is survived by her sons, Salvatore and his wife Susan Davi of Walnut Creek and Joseph Davi of Rio Vista; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Joanne, two great grand sons, Dominic and Jackson, and two sisters, Francine Bartlett and Mary Anne Crawford, both of Pittsburg. She is preceded in death by her husband Horace W. Davi.

Nina was also known as "Nuza" to her family and friends.  Her family joked often that she had as many friends as there were stars in the sky.  She will be missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Peter Martyr School in Pittsburg.
