Nino L. Jaromay passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1st at his home in Pittsburg, California. Nino was born in Sorsogon, Philippines. He graduated college from Feati University and earned a degree in Aeronautics. He then entered the US Navy in 1954 and worked as aircraft mechanic. He served the Navy for 30 years and achieved the rank of ADJC Chief Petty Officer.
Nino is survived by his 5 children, Cynthia David of Antioch, Emma Jaromay of
Pittsburg, Jaime Jaromay of Spanaway, Washington, Lilian Tolliver of San Pablo, Michael Jaromay of Antioch, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grand-daughter. Nino will be missed by his family and dear friends from the Filipino-American Association, American Legion and Catholic Society Organization.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
