Norma Villegas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on July 12, 1941, in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Northern Philippines, to Teodoro Balgos and Valentina Valera.  Norma devoted her life to her family, always putting others before herself and offering kindness, strength, and unconditional love.

She is survived by her husband, Pablo Villegas, her children, Maria Sparling (Dave Sparling) and Paul Villegas, and her cherished grandchildren, Delaney, Christopher, Ciara, Brandon, Drake, Madison, Tiana, Eva, and beloved sister Thelma Talens. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss her.

Norma found joy in tending to her orchids, reading, playing Sudoku, and going to the casino. She was deeply devoted to her church, where she was a proud founding parishioner.

Norma studied at St. Catherine's School of Nursing and Midwifery in Quezon City, Philippines, where she received her degree in Midwifery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, May 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., followed by a funeral liturgy at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at 12:00 noon.
