Patricia Cacciaroni passed away at her home in Antioch on Thursday, May 13 ^th . She impacted many lives through her inherently thoughtful, caring and giving nature. She will be greatly missed by the large family that dearly loved her, and by those who had the privilege of her friendship.

Patricia was born in Pittsburg, California in 1945. The eldest child of Alphonse "Red" Cappucini and Genevieve Cappucini, she graduated from Pittsburg High School and called Antioch her home from 1976.  She built a family with her husband David and spent her career with the Pittsburg Unified School District, where she especially enjoyed her time serving as school librarian, and where she made lifelong friendships.

A wonderful mother and even better grandmother ("Meme" to her grandkids), Patricia tried to find the good in people. She devoted a lifetime to the pursuit of making those she cared about happy.

Patricia enjoyed planning and hosting large, festive family gatherings, sewing, watching movies, beating people at Scrabble, and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her children Joyce Henkel, Janis Falk (Patrick), David and Steven (Beth), twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; her sisters Carolyn Alatorre (Art), Lynn Cappucini, and Joan Matejcek (Pat), her brother Mark Cappucini (Cyndi), sister-in-law Prudy Riso (Vince), and several cousins, nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband David, her parents, and her sister-in-law Annette.

Committal services Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
