The Pittsburg native was born to John and Kay Jogopulos and recently passed due to complications of a long battle with breast cancer. Growing up in Pittsburg, she was part of Rainbow Girls. She graduated Pittsburg High in 1970 and Holy Names College in Oakland in 1974 with a Bachelors in Philosophy, then achieved a multi-subject teaching credential. She enjoyed helping people in financial services for over 30 years. She was a proud member of the Daughters of Penelope, St. Dionysios and St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Churches. Devoted mother to John and Christina. Loving sister to Michael, George and Carolyn, and brother-in-law Tony. Adored Theia to Sophia, Alexa and John. Her kind heart, contagious smile, and witty personality will be deeply missed.

Trisagion is Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 6pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 11am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 1955 Kirker Pass Rd, Concord. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
