Patricia Ann Johns passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 at the age of 87. She was a long time Pittsburg resident. Pat was an active participant in her faith after being baptized in 1990. She was involved with the Adult RCIA program, Eucharistic ministries and loved to sing in the choir. Pat found joy in gardening, tending to her roses. She loved to shop, she was a talented artist, and she adored her grandchildren and enjoyed watching old western movies.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, William F. Johns, survived by her children: Daniel Cox, Richard Cox, Cathy Hughes, Gail Johns, David Johns, Ruth Jenkins and Linda Escobedo. 17 Grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1great-great grandchild. She was loved by all who came into her life and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal service following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette.
