Pat Swanson passed peacefully surrounded by friends and family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Pat was born in Oklahoma and raised in West Pittsburg. She graduated from Mt Diablo High School in Concord in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart Eldon Swanson, and they established their home in Pittsburg with their 2 children. She was employed by Dow Chemical in Pittsburg and retired after 36 years as Human Resources Supervisor. She was an avid reader, enjoyed Southern cooking and taking care of her family and pets. She was a devout Christian always helping the less fortunate.

Pat is survived by her children Bruce (Patricia) of Antioch, Cindy (Julien) of Pittsburg. Grandchildren Brian(Isabel), Stephanie (Kelvin) Garcia and Bret Henly. Great grandchildren Levi Henly, Kelvin Garcia Jr, Elena Garcia and Riley Swanson .

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 9:00am with a funeral service at 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Memory Gardens in Concord, California. In lieu of flowers, family would prefer donations to The William Michael College Scholarship.
