Pauline H. Bova, aged 89, passed away on September 18, 2024, in Oakley, California. She was preceded in death by her husband Phil of 57 years and parents Paul and Vernon Carman. Pauline was a devoted homemaker for 72 years, she worked for the Pittsburg Unified School District as an aide and later volunteered at her grandchildren's schools.  Pauline's commitment extended beyond her family she was Nani to everyone. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Huckaby (Mark), Pamela Ramirez, Patricia Magana (Jim), and Penny Lucky (Richard). Pauline's legacy continues through her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Pauline had a passion for staying active and involved in her community. She enjoyed walking and was a regular spectator at her grandchildren's sporting events. Her love for local sports was evident as she never missed watching the Pittsburg High School Marching Show Band, and she was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on October 19, 2024, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Moose Lodge, 12 Moose Way, Pittsburg.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pittsburg High School Marching Show Band, P.O. Box 1201, Pittsburg, CA  94565 or the Michael Valle Foundation, 1620 Limewood Pl., Pittsburg, CA 94565.
