Peter (Pete) Paul Mutulo, 97, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Sutter Delta Medical Center surrounded by family. He was a longtime commercial fisherman of 70 years which he loved and worked as a general contractor in and around Contra Costa County. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 152, Pittsburg Elks Lodge #1474, Rendezvous Club, Foresters, YMI, Italian American Club, and Pittsburg Moose Lodge. Pete was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd since it's inception. He was a very loving and very giving person.
Pete is survived by his three children: Angela Linda Johnson (Ronald), Diane Quesada (Demetrio) and Vince P. Mutulo. He has 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Brother Dominic (Sal) Mutulo and numerous nieces and nephews. Pete was preceded in death by his wife Angie Mutulo, parents Vincenzo and Angela (Costanza) Mutulo, sisters Marietta Aiello, Jennie Spinale, Frances Billeci, Rose Aliotti, and Josephine Viscusco, Russell Mutulo, Phillip Mutulo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch. In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations to the American Heart Association.
