Peter C. Pioda, 89, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at John Muir Medical Center in Concord. He owned and operated the Columbia Stationers and Printers for 60 years and retiring in December 2011. He was past President of the Pittsburg Lions Club.
Peter is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann, son Peter C. Pioda III and daughter-in-law Guadalupe, one beautiful granddaughter Kimberly Ann, and sister Silvia C. Pioda.
Private services will be held at a later date.
God saw that he was getting tired, so he put His arm around him and whispered "Come with me" with tearful eyes we watched and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating. A determined spirit was at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Safely home my love.
