It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of grandfather, father, son, brother and friend, Raymundo "Mundo" de la O Jr. (August, 10th 2019) Raymundo grew up in Pittsburg, CA leaving roots that would sprout into lifelong laughs, memories, bonds and relationships. Defined by his contrasting nature: both easygoing yet fiercely loyal, his presence was coveted by nearly all who came to know him. As a young man he married the qualities of "too cool for school" and loving son that carried well into his adult years.

As an adult he eventually settled in Pittsburg, CA and San Antonio, Texas with his loving family. Of his various life experiences, the moments that made him most proud revolved around the development and growth of his daughters: Felicia, Vanessa, Lorena and Adriana. They were his greatest loves.

Raymundo's loss leaves a massive whole in our family, but we revel in the idea that he's able to finally be at peace. Mundo will be missed and loved by all. He will live in our hearts and dreams for an eternity.

Raymundo is survived by Landon (Grandchild), Felicia, Vanessa, Lorena and Adriana de la O (Daughters), Maria de la O (Mother), Sonia Castaneda-de la O (Sister), Rene and Rubin de la O (Brothers), and various family members throughout California/Mexico.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a vigil services at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel (2295 Railroad Ave, Pittsburg, CA). Funeral liturgy Friday, August 16, 2019 at  10:00am  at St. Peter Martyr Church (740 Black Diamond St, Pittsburg, CA) Committal services following  at Holy Cross Cemetery (2200 E. 18th St, Antioch, CA).
