Rebecca deLuna, 48, returned to her heavenly home on February 19, 2019 in Antioch, California. Her unquestionable devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her throughout her life. Rebecca will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warm and loving spirit will never be forgotten.
Rebecca was born on December 18, 1970 in Pittsburg, California to "Bobby" and "Lupe" deLuna. As a child, Rebecca played softball; and as a youth, she loved to dress-up and put on make up like the superstar Madonna. She attended Highlands Elementary, Hillview Middle school, and Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, California. Rebecca also persued a nursing career at Bryman College in San Francisco, California where she obtained her Medical Assistant certification license.
Rebecca enjoyed planning family events, as well as, hosting football games at her home. Anyone who knew Rebecca knew that she was a "die-hard" Raiders fan and that she took pride in supporting her team. Rebecca was a sophisticated woman who loved to get her hair and nails done. Her energetic laugh and graceful smile will truly be missed.
Rebecca's legacy will be carried on through her children, Martin Walker Jr., Ashley Walker, Brittney Walker, Alexandria Spriggs, and Gregory Spriggs III, and one grandchild Marley Walker; Her mother, and two brothers, "Rob" and Fernando deLuna, and sister Dianna Perkins; as well as, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and many others who loved and supported her.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her father; Grandmother "Tina" Pozo; and uncle Hector Pozo.
Visitation will be
held
on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:00am both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
