Rena (aka The Roadrunner) passed away peacefully at the age of 92 with her family by her side. Born in Allentown, PA she was raised in Port Chicago, CA and moved to West Pittsburg in 1968 after the Navy purchased the town. She lived life to the fullest until the day of her passing. She is preceded in death by her husband Elsio, and her son Caesar (Wendy). She is the last of the last of the 4 R's - Reno, Rosie, Rego, Rena and now joins them in eternal rest along with her mother and father Olga and Biago Piva. She is survived by her son Mark and his wife Lori. Nieces Lia, Gemma, Mary, Shelli, Mindi, Laini and nephews Jimmy, Jay, Leo, and Michael.

Rena loved to travel and often said if you don't want me to go – don't ask. Trips to Maui with Mark, Lori and her parents Les and Anita were a high point for her. She also loved happy hour by saying – it is 5 o'clock somewhere. Most pictures show her celebrating with a glass of cheer in her hand. She was a great hostess of the many parties she had at her house and always surprised people with a mystery guest. She kept in close contact with her childhood friend Tina throughout the years. Her move to assisted living at the Village at Heritage Park in Sacramento was the high point in her life these past few months. She made many new friends and got her social life back.

She will be missed by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 2024, at 4:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm. Funeral liturgy Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 10:30am both days at Our Lady Queen of the World Church. Committal services following at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette.
