Obituary

Rina Maciel, affectionately known as Coco, passed away at the young age of 58 in Antioch, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Rina was born in Rivas, Nicaragua on June 27, 1955 to parents Octavio and Susana Vega- Pasquier. Rina was happily married to her husband, Gilberto Maciel. After a year of friendship and blossoming love, she married her sweetheart on November 4, 1988 and went on to spend 25 years together.
Rina was known for her willingness to always help others, her beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and witty sense of humor. Rina loved to cook, garden, watch her beloved novelas, and spend time with her family.
Rina is survived by her daughter, Rina Bello, stepson Gilbert Ariel Maciel, and her granddaughter Claudia Isabella Bello. She is also survived by her siblings; Belkys Blandino, Eduardo Vega, Claudia Bello, Luz Vega-Marquis, Susana Vega, Cesar Vega, Leana Ali and Martha Vega.
She was dearly loved by so many. She lived, she loved, and she laughed until the very end and shared those gifts with all who knew her. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Visitation Wednesday, Oct 23rd 10:00am with a rosary and chapel blessing 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
