Robert "Bob" Berg passed away August 9, 2013 at Kaiser Medical Center in Antioch. He was a proud graduate from Pittsburg High School, c/o 1949. He joined the Navy and served from 1951-1954. Bob worked for the Pittsburg Fire Department from 1956-1984. He also worked for Johns Manville and U.S. Steel. He was a member of the Pittsburg Historical Society.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of almost 51 years, Joy, son Steve (Patricia), daughter Lori (Steve) and Donna (John). Grandchildren: Eric (Haley), Brandi Joy, Tami (Danny), Steven and fiance Krystie, Tyron (Flo) and Amber and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Bessie Berg, sons Howard and Don.
A special thank you to Kaiser Permanente for their professional and loving care to Bob. At Bob's request no services will be held. He would tell us all, "don't get nervous."
