Robert Duaine Eschliman passed from this life to his heavenly home on September 3, 2021, in Antioch, CA. He joined his wife, Mary, his parents, brother Laverne, and many family members who went before.

Robert was born on May 18, 1932, in Spaulding, NE to Joy Lester and Marie Ethel (Rock) Eschliman. At the age of two, his family moved to Northern California where he lived the rest of his life. He joined the Army and served on Okinawa as a radio repairman during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the City of Antioch for many years as a Public Works Inspector before his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter Janet Williams (Don) of Florence, TX, his son Duaine Eschliman (Sandy) of Antioch, CA; five grandchildren, Tim Rodriguez, Katrina Hogue (Andy), Kevin Eschliman (Heather), Nathan Eschliman (Rizza), Brian Eschliman; nine great-grandchildren, Samantha, Kaylee, William, Sydney, Charlie, Ryu, Xavier, Elias, Arabella; brothers Delbert Eschliman (Deloris) and Gary Eschliman (Pat); and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and Christian. His faith was an essential part of his life, and he served as an example of God's love to all who knew him. We are comforted knowing that he's in the presence of Jesus for eternity.
