Robert V Palec passed away peacefully at his home in Pittsburg, California on December 6, 2022. He was born in Manila, Philippines on February 2, 1949. After moving to the US, he finished high school, then found the love of his life and started a family. He is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Maria (Oregana) Palec, three children Robert Jr (Iris Nicole), Rosemary and Suzette (Ian) Palec, along with his two grandchildren Kaleb and Kalei Elizabeth Palec. He is also survived by his siblings Zenaida Aguilar and Donato Palec, Maria Pagdato and Amy Libao, in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his parents and brothers, Eduardo and Felomino Jr Palec.

Robert worked as an Ingredients Specialist at UCSF for 42 years. After retiring in 2011, he dedicated his life to help raise his grandchildren. He enjoyed bringing Kaleb and Kalei to and from school. He also loved singing karaoke and going to the casino.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with a chapel blessing at 4:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
