Obituary

Roger Lee Bishop passed away suddenly on Thursday. His laughter and his enthusiasm for life are missed already. Roger was born in San Francisco and lived his whole life in the Bay Area. He graduated from Pittsburg High and married his high school sweetheart Jeannie Bruno whom he loved dearly. After serving 8 years in both the National Guard as well as the Army Reserve he worked in several industrial jobs including US Steel in Pittsburg where he retired as a crane operator after a 33 year career. After retirement he started his own business based on his extensive guitar knowledge and his incredible mechanical and artistic talents.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie; his loving daughters Dina Miller and Christine Todd and his son in laws Richard Miller and Jason Todd. He is also survived by his grandchildren Devin, Kaylee, and Jacob, as well as Vince Baltazal, his fiancée Josie, and his great granddaughter Angelina. He was loved and will always be loved by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 9:30am with a rosary and funeral service 10:30am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
