Obituary

It began at 48 village, in the mother land,

A baby boy called Romain Karan

Named after a cricketer renowned,

Full of life and strength unbound.

With his family, he came to the USA

Settling in California, near the Bay

Surrounded by family near and far,

He carried on as he tried to stay on par.

Confronting life's challenges along the way,

He faced them head-on, day by day.

Fatherhood became his greatest role,

His children became his eternal goal.

Time, the greatest gift, he would spend,

Bowling, cooking, their hearts he'd mend.

A doting father, with a tender heart,

An unbreakable bond, never apart.

But tragedy struck with a painful blow,

Athena, his daughter, had to go.

His world shattered, he cried in vain,

Remaining resilient, despite the pain

Carrying on with Alina, Roro and Rohan

Hustling with love any way he can.

Romain, gregarious, charming, and bright,

To his children, a guiding light.

Though he's gone, his spirit remains,

The laughter and memories, in familial veins.

A devoted dad, his legacy strong,

In their hearts, he will forever belong.
