Obituary

Roman C. Abenoja, 69, passed away peacefully in his sleep with the love of his life Louise Abenoja at his side. To whom he married twice. He was born in the Philippines on November 8, 1948. At the age of 2, his family moved to America and settled in Pittsburg, Ca. He joined the US Air Force where he served 4 years in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1979. He worked for U.S. Customs, The News Group and USS Posco. His hobbies included sports, camping, art and landscaping but his passions in life were that of fishing and playing music.

Roman is by his loving wife Louise, 2 son's Conrad and Demi Abenjoa both of Antioch, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.  A brother Benny Abenjoa of Pittsburg, and A Sister Lita Abenoja if Pittsburg. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. (Romy) as he was affectionately known to Family and Friends was a happy go lucky kind of man. He will be remembered as fun loving person who lived life to the fullest! He will forever remain a mountain for those who knew him and an influence to those who admired him.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Military burial following at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon.
