Obituary

Ronald Walter Chambers, 86, passed on November 29, 2019 with his loving wife and family by his side, at his home in Pittsburg, California. Ron was born October 7, 1933 in Newton Kansas to Charles and Mary Chambers.  Ronald was the 12 th of 13 children.

After completing high school in Newton, Kansas, Ron enlisted in the Navy at 17. He served on the famous 'The Sullivans DD-537' around the world.  Following the Navy, Ron attended San Jose State University. His love of family and friends continued throughout his life; as a Salesman, Real Estate Agent, Business Owner, and Insurance Broker.

Ron delighted in supporting and sharing his love for his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and their friends.  From reading books, playing board games, cards (poker), golfing (earned  1 Double Eagle), fishing, and supporting them at sporting events and activities. "Nano" Ron was their #1 Fan.

Ron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Hope Siino Belleci-Chambers, three (3) step-children; Patrice Belleci-Shipe (James Shipe), Sal Belleci (Splendora), and Marisa Belleci. Eight (8) grandchildren; Anthony Shipe (Georgette), James Shipe (Danette), Shelli Belleci, Lisa Lawlor (Ross), Christina Belleci-Arroyo (Daniel Arroyo), Robert Belleci (Tara), Staci Webb (Pete), and Anthony Belleci (Kayla). Sixteen (16) great-grandchildren; Alexandria, Angelina, Anthony, Analise, Madilynn, Matteo, Madden, Robert, Joey, Kendilynn, James, Rosalia, Stella, Vitta, Dominic, and Titan.  Sister Louella Hunsaker, and many nephews and nieces.

Nano Ron lived by this Motto: A Hundred Years from Now… it will not matter how much money I made, the kind of car I drove, or the size of the house I lived in, but maybe the world will be a better place because I was important in the life of a CHILD!

Funeral memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:00pm at  Church of the Good Shepherd in Pittsburg. Donations can be made to St. Peter Martyr School or favorite charity.
