Ronnie Dale Burnett was born September 12, 1951, at the Pittsburg Hospital to Dorothy Lorene and Vernie Olen Burnett. He is the youngest of 5 children, Charlene, Bobby, Janice and Brenda.

They settled in Cowell and he graduated from Clayton Valley High School in 1969. He joined the Labors Union with his Dad, worked at American Bridge and ended up at USS Posco where he worked for 40 years.

He married Thelma Knauss and had 3 boys, Ronnie, Allen and Paul. His marriage ended after 21 years. Shortly after he met and married Shirley. They went on to spend thirty one wonderful years together filled with love and happiness. Ronnie is survived by his wife Shirley, his 5 children, his 18 grandchildren and his 9 great grandchildren.

A one of a kind man with a heart of gold whose legacy will live on forever in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten…we will all miss you!
