Rosa Enea, born in Isola delle Femmine, Italy, died Tuesday, March 24, surrounded by family. She is survived by children Rocco, Santo, Marie, and Joann Enea, and Roseanne Hernandez (Oscar); grandchildren Christina Montez (Victor), Alicia Pekari, and Patricia Ortiz (Michael); and eleven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Joseph P. Enea, parents Santo and Maria (Cardinale) Geraci, and brothers Francesco and Giuseppi Geraci. A cannery worker for many years, she retired to enjoy her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 5:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm. Funeral liturgy Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 1:00pm both days at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch. Family requests donations to St. Peter Martyr School, 425 W. Fourth St., Pittsburg.
