Rose J. Carpenello, 93 of PIttsburg, CA, passed away on July 16, 2024. Rose was born on October 24, 1930, in Rio Vista California. Rose married Gerald P. Carpenello Sr. in 1948. Rose and Gerald Sr. had two children together, Gerald Carpenello Jr. and Susan Campbell (Carpenello). Rose was a very loving mother to her children and maintained a close family dynamic through her life.

Rose was a homemaker for over 75 years. Rose was active in the Church of the Good Shepherd where she worked in the rectory for 30 years and she taught Catechism for over 25 years. Rose was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Young Ladies Institute (YLI).

Rose enjoyed spending her free time traveling and engaging in many social activities with her close friends.

Rose was preceded in death by Gerald Carpenello Sr. Rose is survived by her two loving children, Gerald Jr., Susan and her grandchild Christian Campbell.

Services will be privately held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd.
