Rose was the youngest of nine children born to Rocco and Sarah Enea.
She married Guy Ventrice and had two daughters. Rose worked in the cannery and Kroehler's Furniture for a short time before becoming a homemaker.
She was an avid S.F. Giant's fan and enjoyed raising canaries, fishing, crocheting, bingo and spending time with her family.
Rose is survived by her daughters Marie Conway (Pat Conway) and Sara Jean Wood (James Wood deceased). She is also survived by her grandchildren Marji Pratt, Michelle Noll, Gina Miller, Frank Wood and Guy Rognlien, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

The funeral liturgy will be held at 11 am on February 22 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 606 Mellus St., Martinez. Private committal at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
