Rosita "Mommie Chie" passed away on Saturday after a courageous fight with numerous illnesses. Born n Iloilo City, Philippines, she earned an education degree. A caring homemaker, avid reader and a great cook! Rosie is survived by her children, Ben & Fe, Ed & Elvie, Leroy & Ann, Liling and 13 grandchildren: Allen, Jon-Jon, Maychelle, Ochie, Olynn, Ojynn, Roan, Cacay, Ian, VR, Casey, Jeannette and her beloved Jieann.Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, 2/28 at 5pm with a vigil at 7pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Friday, 3/1 at 10:30 am at the Good Shepherd Church. She will be cremated and flown to the Philippines. Her final burial place will be on 3/24 at the Manila North Green Park.Inday, Rosie, Ochie, Mommy Chie, Lola , Rosita, at whatever name or time in her life you have known her, she will be missed dearly.
