Roy Elvin Matherly passed away on November 26 ^th leaving behind a hell of lot of stuff his wife and kids have no idea what to do with. So if you're looking for hard drives, Floppy disks, VHS tapes, or "as seen on T.V." gadgets please wait the appropriate amount of time and get in touch with the family. On a serious note, Roy was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Roy was surrounded by his immediate family on the morning of Thanksgiving when he decided it was time to be with his Mom, Dad, and Brother who proceeded him in death.

Roy was born on May 14 ^th 1943 in Brazil Indiana. Roy served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1969. Shortly before leaving the military Roy was introduced to his future wife of 51 years Patricia who he affectionately call "Maghee" Roy retired in 1995 after working 25 years at PG&E. Shortly after retiring Roy opened up his own business. Personal Computer Help was one of the first companies in the country  to offer help and assistance with this new technology called the "computer ". Roy was a self-starter and took it upon himself to learn the ins and out of computing. A true Pioneer!!

Roy loved to laugh and more importantly love to make others laugh. He was always willing to give advice to friends and family such as "don't take any wooden nickels " or " drive defensively". Roy loved life itself. If you ever interacted with Roy and ask how he was doing he would respond the majority of time with " if I was doing any better there would have to be 2 of me"

Roy enjoyed many interest including painting, wood working, and most importantly singing. For over 20 years Roy would take his musical equipment to local retirement communities and sing to those who did not have loved ones to visit. Roy had a servants hearts and would give you the shirt off his back of you needed it. In fact one year Roy took his own families Christmas tree and some gifts to a single mom who did have the means to provide for her kids. Roy loved the Lord with all his heart and made sure to instill faith in Jesus with all of his kids. Roy loved the Lord, his wife, and kids in that order!

Roy is survived by his wife Patricia, brother Richard,  kids Richard and wife Deborah, Darryl, Roy and wife JoEllen, Tara and husband Danny. Grandkids Mikel, Briana and husband Alvaro, Justina, Nikko, Anthony, Daniel and wife Delida, Peyton, Parker, and Pryce. Great Grand- kids Jackson, Honee, and Lincoln. As well as future great-grand daughter Sariyah.
