Roy Lee Moffett was born January 9th 1958 and passed November 26th 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Roy was a lifetime resident of Pittsburg Ca. He made a career in the cable industry and customer service for decades before retiring. Roy was a stellar athlete in baseball, basketball and football at Pittsburg High School. He furthered his football career to have two successful years at Los Medanos College and then attended and played football at the University of California Berkeley. Following his college career he played for the semi pro Antioch Hornets for 5 years. Roy was recently inducted into the Pittsburg High School Football Hall of Fame in May 2022. Roy loved sports, spending time with friends/family, watching old black and white movies/tv shows and most notably watching his Pittsburgh Steelers on Sundays with his "terrible towel" in hand.
Roy is survived by his daughter Nikki Moffett ; son Roy Lee Moffett Jr.; brother Kevin Moffett and granddaughter Ja'Lliyah Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents RD & Lottie Mae Moffett, his eldest brother Ronnie Moffett and daughter Chisa Moffett.
Roy will be deeply missed, never forgotten and loved forever.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11:30am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Oak View Memorial Park in Antioch.
