Russ will be missed deeply by his wife of 56 years, Sondra; his son, Mark (Christine); his grandchildren, Tyler and Cali; his brothers, Frank, Anthony (Diane), and Paul (Audrey).
Russ spent his early years in Pittsburg, a few blocks from the river. Russ enjoyed traveling with his wife, boating, fishing, duck hunting, and volunteering for the Antioch Riverview Garden Club, Bridgehead Marina Yacht Club, and the Sons of Italy. He served as a delegate for U.S. Steel/USS Posco in Korea and also spent 2 weeks in Chichibu, Japan as part of their Sister City Program.
