S. Nikka Singh passed away on July 22, 2013 in Martinez, CA.
Papaji was born in 1927 in the village of Bainchan, Punjab, India. He served in the British Army and the Punjab Police. He was married to Chanan Kaur in 1950. In 1987 he immigrated to the United States.
S. Nikka Singh is survived by his wife, Chanan Kaur and his six children: his two sons, Virender Singh and Inderjit Manga; his four daughters, Varinder Kaur, Ranjit Kaur, Surjit Kaur and Sukhvinder Kaur and their spouses. Papaji is also survived by fifteen adoring grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation and service will begin Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00am. Cremation services will follow at Oakview Memorial Park 2500 E. 18th St., Antioch, Ca 94509.
