Salvatore C. Enea, went to our heavenly Father on May 20, 2024, at the age of 95. He saw many changes in our world over the 95 years he was with us. He married Eleanor M. Bruno and together they raised 3 children in Pittsburg. Salvatore known by some as "Al" worked at Lanzafame Furniture as a Maytag, Frigidaire repairman and carpet layer. Upon retirement Sal and his wife traveled. Maui became the favorite place to be. They enjoyed the beaches and made many many friends there.

Salvatore was very active in our community here in Pittsburg and was a very active member of St. Peter Martyr Church. He became and served as our local Young Men's Institute (Y.M.I.) Sadoc Council #59 as President and served as recording secretary for that local many years. He continued on that path becoming Grand President of the Y.M.I. He was voted Man of Year and Man of the Century.

Salvatore is survived by his two children: Sebastian (Buzzy) Enea and daughter Angela Oyervides. 4 grandchilren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor and his son Salvatore T. Enea.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy will follow at St. Peter Martyr Church at 11:00am.
