Salvatore Suniga passed away on January 22, 2016 at 95 years old. He was a native and lifelong resident of Pittsburg. For 43 years, he worked as an Electrical Foreman for US Steel.
He was married to Mary Lou Verduzco for 43 years. She passed away in 1984. In 1988 he then married Wanda Worrell for 20 years. She passed away in 2008. Salvatore is survived by his son Salvatore Louis, granddaughters: Jennifer and Margaret and two great granddaughters: Bailey and Reese. He was preceded in death by his daughter Yolanda, son Robert, and daughter-in-law Gail. Grandpa will be missed by his family and friends. He was good man and very respectable. We all loved him to the very end.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:30pm. Chapel blessing Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 1:00pm both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
